This pic is from the first week of my travels, when
I walked the Great Wall of China. (OK, it was 10 km of it). Currently in Tokyo,
and before the end of October I plan to do a visa stop in Hong Kong (skilfully
avoiding Matt Pattinson`s family) and reach Vietnam. Treated my withdrawal symptoms from rugby by going to a Japan Premier
league game on Monday - plenty of Kiwis and George Gregan were playing!

Hope all is well at the club and positive about the upcoming games…see
you soon,

He fills his days with jolly japes with ‘the boys’ and by rearranging his spanner drawer. Ian has played rugby for the Isle of Wight for years apart from the inconvenient breaks in which he is sent away to war (a letter to the Queen asking for this to stop recieved short shrift). Disappointed to find there was no room to play rugby on board ship, Ian was excited to hear about ‘mini-rugby’. Unfortunately he discovered this was not the game he imagined and had some serious explaining to do to the captain.
If you would like to contact Ian whilst he is away, please let his long suffering brother know at stuart.browne@iow.nhs.uk who would be happy to pass on messages of support, good wishes, abuse etc.
